More Big Lies Old “Out of Context” Trick |
This famous proof of theirs has to resort to yet another criminal move - it is only a proof when taken totally out of context. In all of the Jews for Jesus literature it is always shown without its surrounding verses - because otherwise youd immediately notice that it is not the messiah talking. No problem - just abuse the peoples trust and rip it right out of context. For those who bother to actually look at the verse inside, it is obvious from the context that it isn't Jesus or the messiah talking. The opening verse of Psalm 22 says clearly that it is actually King David talking. To make things really bad, the whole thing is written about events that already happened in the past - it's not a future prophecy about the messiah. It gets even worse once you start reading a few verses of the actual text (something that they hope that you wont do). Psalm 22 opens with King David complaining that he's praying to G-d but that G-d isn't answering his prayers. If it's Jesus who is part of the godhead trinity talking, then who does god himself pray to? Is god schizophrenic? Should we put Jesus on valium for talking to himself? If he's god himself then why can't he answer his own prayers? Who is he complaining to - himself? Their own scholars have been admitting for years that all these "proofs" are worthless. So why do they still keep on using them?
